Prime Video has set the global premiere date for Marry My Husband, a new Japanese drama series, adapted from the hit South Korean series.

The new drama series, Marry My Husband, is the Japanese adaptation of the hit K-drama of the same name, both of which are based on the popular Naver web novel (#ad).
The series stars Fuka Koshiba (Fermat’s Cuisine, Gourmet Detective Goro Akechi), Takeru Satoh (“Rurouni Kenshin” films, First Love), Sei Shiraishi (Fermat’s Cuisine, Yu Yu Hakusho), and Yû Yokoyama (Kotaro Lives Alone, 8uppers).
Marry My Husband tells the story of Misa (Koshiba), a woman who has always lived as a supporting character in her own life while being service to others. When betrayal by her husband, Tomoya Hirano (Yokoyama), and best friend, Reina Esaka (Shiraishi), leads to her death, Misa is mysteriously granted a second chance, traveling back in time ten years. Determined to rewrite her fate, she sheds her former nice-girl persona to pursue revenge. However, her plans take an unexpected turn when she meets Section Chief Wataru Suzuki (Satoh), a man absent from her previous life, who begins to change her revenge-focused heart. Through this second chance, Misa discovers what it means to truly become the protagonist of her own story.
Marry My Husband, an Amazon Original Series, premieres globally with two episodes on Friday, June 27, exclusively on Prime Video. New episodes will drop in pairs on Fridays through July 25.
The first Japanese co-production of CJ ENM (Parasite) and Studio Dragon (Crash Landing on You), along with Jayuro Pictures and Shochiku Studios, the series is written by Satomi Ôshima (Sayonara, Maestro!) and directed by Ahn Gil-ho (The Glory).
