Netflix has set the global premiere date for Our Unwritten Seoul, a new drama series from South Korea starring Park Bo-young.
In Our Unwritten Seoul, multi-award-winning actress Park Bo-young (Melo Movie, Daily Dose of Sunshine, Doom at Your Service) plays dual characters who, between them, have four separate and distinct personas.
The drama follows Yu Mi-ji and Yu Mi-rae, identical twins who look the same but are total opposites in terms of personality and life paths.
The energetic, vivacious, and eternally optimistic Mi-ji was a sprinting prodigy, but now hustles in a variety of short-term jobs after a life-altering incident cut short her promising athletic career and derailed her dreams. Conversely, the more reserved and perfectionist Mi-Rae, who has been on an elite path since her school days, works steadily at a government-owned company.
Meanwhile, Lee Ho-Su (Park Jin-young, The Devil Judge, When My Love Blooms), a good-looking and carefree attorney who works for a large law firm, has been working extremely hard to have some normalcy after an event in his past changed his life.
Soon, the twins begin to tell audacious lies about exchanging their lives, and after a complicated twist of fate, they assume each other’s identity and swap lives. Then Ho-Su has an unexpected encounter with Mi-Ji and Mi-Rae, leading all three of them to navigate unfamiliar challenges and discover love and their true selves.
Our Unwritten Seoul, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Saturday, May 24, exclusively on Netflix.
