The streaming behemoth is continuing its mega-investment in Korean content with romcom series Lovestuck, which stars Jung Hae-in (Something in the Rain, One Spring Night, Tune In for Love) and Ha-young (The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, Doona, Extraordinary Attorney Woo).

In the series, Go Eun-sae (Ha-young), a brilliant and ambitious prosecutor, is known for being quick, clean, and clever, while Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a former youth boxing champion who turned to gang life, now seeks redemption as a small-town boxing coach.

On his final mission for the gang, Tae-ha unexpectedly crosses paths with Eun-sae, his long-lost first love. The problem is, she doesn’t remember him; while tracking a crime syndicate, she had an accident that wiped her memory. When she awakens, she finds herself in a rural clinic surrounded by taffy shops — and Tae-ha, who’s claiming to be her boyfriend.

Tae-ha concocted this story in order to protect Eun-sae, and now they’re stuck living together in the quaint village. As she stumbles through this new, sticky reality, she finds herself slowly drawn to his warmth.

The series is directed by Kim Jang-han and written by Mo Ji-hye, who worked together on the romantic comedy series You Raise Me Up.

The premiere date for Lovestuck has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
