Netflix has announced the start of production on Perfect Job, a new mystery-horror-fantasy series from South Korea.

When something is too good to be true, it usually is, and oftentimes worse.
Such is the situation that Hyuk-jun (Lee Jae-wook, Dear Hongrang, Alchemy of Souls, Death’s Game) finds himself in in Perfect Job. He accepts a part-time job from the enigmatic Mr. S (Lee Hee-jun, Karma, A Killer Paradox, Badland Hunters) of Spyder Human Resource Center, who offers it with an hourly rate that is 50x the usual pay.
That right there should’ve clued Hyuk-jun into something being off with this gig, and he finds out soon enough. The job turns into a nightmare, as Hyuk-jun encounters strange and terrifying phenomena. But it’s money, right? As his spirited younger sister, Ji-yoon (Kim Min-ha, Pachinko, Light Shop, The Light in Your Eyes), says: “Poverty is scarier than ghosts.”
Meanwhile, working to uncover the truth behind the unsettling events at Spyder Human Resource Center is investigator Yeon-joo (Ko Min-si, Sweet Home, Youth of May, The Frog).
Directed by Kim Da-min (A Killer Paradox), the series is written by Kyeong Min-sun (Urban Myths) and Lee Shin-ji (Concrete Utopia), and executive produced by Han Jun-Hee (D.P.).
The premiere date for Perfect Job has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
