Heaven and Hell: Soul Exchange (Japan)
In this supernatural crime drama, Ayako Mochizuki (Haruka Ayase, Moribito), an ambitious detective in the violent crimes unit of the Tokyo Police Department, is tasked with single-handedly bringing in the prime suspect in a murder case. That is Haruto Hidaka (Issei Takahashi, Invisible), a brilliant chemist and successful entrepreneur whose persona belies his true nature of a psychopathic serial killer. As Ayako is about to cuff Haruto, their souls get switched. Invisible (Japan)
In this crime thriller, a detective obsessed with justice receives a surprising offer of help from a mysterious figure in the criminal underworld known as “Invisible.” Starring Issey Takahashi (Romance Doll) and Ko Shibasaki (Phases of the Moon), Invisible premieres in the US on Saturday, April 1, on Netflix. Teen Regime (Japan)
This sci-fi drama takes a look at the very real problems of dropping birth rates and growing populations of over-60s in countries across the globe. Set in the year 202X, it sees a deeply-stagnated economy in Japan as birth rates continue to drop. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so in an attempt to reverse the situation, the prime minister launches Project Utopi-AI, an experiment that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to select leaders to govern a demoralized city.
The AI selects Maki Aran (Fûju Kamio, High & Low: The Worst), a 17-year-old high school student with ambitions to establish an egalitarian society, to be the city’s leader. Others whom the AI chooses for the city’s government are in their early 20s. With the help of AI, Aran and his team get to work directing reforms and transforming the failing, dispirited city into a thriving, idealistic community: a Utopi-AI.

This gritty action-crime-thriller revolves around a group of childhood friends, each of whom must navigate their destiny as they grow up on the bustling streets and neighborhood of Isale Eko, Lagos.

Jubilee (India)
Set in a newly independent India, this drama sees a studio boss, his movie-star wife, a trusted aide, a nautch girl, and a refugee crossing paths in their pursuit of stardom, riches, and love.

Kings of Mulberry Street: Let Love Reign (South Africa)
In this follow-up to the 2019 comedy-drama Kings of Mulberry Street, Granny Chetty (Kogie Naidoo, Florida Road) is abducted by an evil ex-cop, so young lads Ticky (Aaqil Hoosen) and Baboo (Shaan Nathoo) embark on a wild rescue mission, complete with a prized necklace and a musical show.

A Simple Lie (Nigeria)
This comedy-drama sees Boma (Bisola Aiyeola, Breaded Life) try to win back her ex by telling him that she has cancer, but her simple lie soon spirals out of control, exposing secrets within a group of friends who are cheating on — and with — each other.

Hunger (Thailand)
This drama centers on twenty-something Aoy (Chutimon “Aokbab” Chuengcharoensukying, Bad Genius) and Chef Paul (Nopachai “Peter” Jayanama, Hurts Like Hell). Aoy runs her family’s stir-fried noodles street food stall in the old quarter of Bangkok. One day she receives an invitation to join “Hunger,” Thailand’s top-tier private chef team, led by the famously ingenious, and infamously nasty culinary genius Chef Paul. At Hunger Aoy meets Tone (Gunn Svasti, Tootsies & the Fake), the team’s sous-chef, who plays a key role in the showdown that ensues between Aoy and Paul.

Signal (South Korea)
Lee Je-hoon (Move to Heaven), Kim Hye-soo (Default), and Cho Jin-woong (A Hard Day) star in this fantasy crime drama series in which a criminal profiler from 2015 and a detective from 1989, who communicate via a walkie-talkie that transcends time, join forces to tackle crimes and injustice.

This action-crime drama follows the employees of an emergency call center and dispatch teams as they try to help victims using only what they hear during their calls for help. In this musical romantic comedy, law student Pedro (Pedro Calais) dreams of becoming a music star. But soon Pedro is faced with a choice between pursuing his dream of becoming successful or having a life full of music and good vibes with Ana. Smother in Law: Season 2 (Brazil)
In this comedy series’ new season, after spending some time in prison, nosy Isadir (Rodrigo Sant’anna, Tô de Graça) returns to her now-growing family, as well as to new friends, lovers, and more chances to cause trouble for her son Carlos (Rafael Zulu, Rising Sun) and daughter-in-law Alice (Lidi Lisboa, The Slave Mother).

Caravana Das Drags (Queens on the Run) (Brazil)
Hosted by Brazilian TV presenter Xuxa Meneghel and respected drag queen Ikaro Kadoshi, this reality-competition series follows ten Brazilian drag artists as they compete for the title of “Drag Suprema.” As they travel to various cities in Brazil in an extravagantly decorated bus, the participants face different challenges inspired by the cultural traditions of each city. The judges, including the presenters and special guests, determine which participant gets eliminated each week and who deserves to move on to the next round.

The Last Thing He Told Me (US)
Created and adapted by Laura Dave from her New York Times bestseller The Last Thing He Told Me, this thriller limited series stars Jennifer Garner (Alias) as Hannah, a woman who must forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter, Bailey (Angourie Rice, “Spider-Man” films), in order to find the truth about why her husband mysteriously disappeared.
