Using food as a metaphor for human desire and ambition, Hunger centers on two people: twenty-something Aoy (Chutimon “Aokbab” Chuengcharoensukying, Bad Genius) and Chef Paul (Nopachai “Peter” Jayanama, Hurts Like Hell).

Aoy (Chuengcharoensukying) runs her family’s stir-fried noodles street food stall in the old quarter of Bangkok. Then one day she receives an invitation to join “Hunger,” Thailand’s top-tier private chef team, led by the famously ingenious, and infamously nasty culinary genius Chef Paul (Jayanama). Here she meets Tone (Gunn Svasti, Tootsies & the Fake), the team’s sous-chef, who plays a key role in the showdown that ensues between Aoy and Paul.

Hunger, a Netflix Film, premieres globally on Saturday, April 8, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
