Shelter, a new Harlan Coben mystery series, is headed to Prime Video (not Netflix!). Check out the teaser.
Best-selling and award-winning author Harlan Coben marks his first collaboration with Prime Video with Shelter, an eight-episode teen/young adult mystery thriller based on his “Myron Bolitar” novel series.
Shelter follows the story of Mickey Bolitar, who, after the sudden death of his father, starts a new life in Kasselton, New Jersey. With his mother in rehab, Mickey quickly finds himself tangled in the mysterious disappearance of a new student at his school, Ashley Kent, which leads to uncovering unimaginable secrets within their quiet suburban community. With the help of his friends — the inventive Spoon and secretive Ema — Mickey pulls back the sleepy facade of Kasselton to reveal a dark underground that may hold the answers to decades of disappearances, deaths, and legends… and perhaps even Mickey’s own complex family history.
Shelter, an Amazon Original series, premieres globally on Friday, August 18, exclusively on Prime Video. New episodes will drop each Friday, leading up to the season finale on September 22.
The series stars Jaden Michael (Colin in Black & White, Blue Bloods) as Mickey Bolitar, Constance Zimmer (The Calling, Good Trouble) as Shira Bolitar, Adrian Greensmith (Metal Lords) as Arthur “Spoon” Spindell, Abby Corrigan (Castle Rock, Rectify) as Ema Winslow, Tovah Feldshuh (Law & Order, Holocaust) as Bat Lady, Sage Linder (The Next Step, The Good Doctor) as Rachel Caldwell, and Brian Altemus (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Grand Army) as Troy, amongst others.
Showrunners/executive producers Harlan Coben and Allen MacDonald are joined by executive producers Edward Ornelas and Erik Barmack. Charlotte Coben serves as a producer and Patricia Cardoso as director and executive producer.
