LOL: Last One Laughing Naija, the Nigerian version of the hit Amazon Original comedy competition series, is set for its global premiere.

LOL: Last One Laughing Naija is the latest localized version of Amazon Studios’ “LOL: Last One Laughing” international comedy competition format, based on the Japanese Amazon Original series Hitoshi Matsumoto Presents Documental. The six-episode Nigerian version joins the growing list of “LOL” series produced in 20 countries (and now 5 continents), including Canada, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Ireland, and Spain.

Hosted by Basketmouth, Nigeria’s king of comedy, LOL: Last One Laughing Naija pits ten of Nigeria’s top tier comedic talent against each other in a celebrity showdown to win the grand prize for a local charity of their choice. Participating in the series are Buchi, DatWarriGirl, Acapella, Okey Bakassi, Taooma, KieKie, Gandoki, Senator, I Go Save, and Mr. Funny.

LOL: Last One Laughing Naija, an Amazon Original Series, premieres globally this Friday, July 14, exclusively on Prime Video.
