Starz has announced the premiere date for the third and final season of crime drama Hightown, starring Monica Raymund.
The new year brings us the last-ever season of Hightown, in which bad guys and corruption arise from all sides, beliefs and loyalties are tested, and Fishery Service Agent Jackie Quiñones (Monica Raymund, Bros, Chicago Fire, The Good Wife) must learn to stand by herself and for what she believes in as she continues her battle to overcome her addictions while unraveling the intricacies of the drug and crime underworld in Cape Cod.
Following on from the events in Season 2, Season 3 of Hightown finds Jackie off the wagon and off the force, but that doesn’t stop her from careening into the dark underbelly of picture-perfect Cape Cod to save a missing woman and a murdered sex worker.
Meanwhile, her former colleagues, Ray Abruzzo (James Badge Dale, 24, The Departed) and Alan Santille (Dohn Norwood, Mindhunter, The Sinner), are focused on taking down drug syndicates. But despite their best efforts, the drugs keep flowing.
This attracts Shane Frawley (Garret Dillahunt, Fear the Walking Dead, The Mindy Project, Raising Hope), a gangster from Boston looking to cut himself in on the Cape’s drug trade — and making an enemy of Osito (Atkins Estimond, The Resident, Lodge 49) while he’s at it.
Hightown: Season 3 premieres Friday, January 26, 2024, at midnight ET, on the Starz app and all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms, with the linear debut happening at 9 PM ET/PT that same evening in the US and Canada. New episodes will be released weekly according to the same schedule.
For folks who haven’t seen Hightown before, the first season will be available in front of the paywall on the Starz app from January 3 to February 5, 2024.
Also reprising their roles for the final season are series regulars Riley Voelkel (Roswell, New Mexico, The Originals) and Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break, Deception), as well as Imani Lewis (Eighth Grade, First Kill), Mark Boone Junior (Sons of Anarchy, Paradise City), and Mike Pniewski (Madam Secretary), who return in their recurring roles. Guest stars in Season 3 include Ana Nogueira (The Vampire Diaries), Taja V. Simpson (The Oval), Michael Drayer (Mr. Robot, Sneaky Pete), Garret Dillahunt (12 Years a Slave, Deadwood), and Jeanine Serralles (Inside Llewyn Davis, The Woman in the Window).
Hightown is created by Rebecca Cutter (The Hunting Wives, Gotham), who executive produces with Jerry Bruckheimer (“Pirates of the Caribbean” and “CSI” franchises, Top Gun: Maverick), Jonathan Littman (Lucifer, The Amazing Race, “CSI” franchise), and KristieAnne Reed (Lucifer, CSI: Vegas) from Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Ellen H. Schwartz (Sicario, The Princess Diaries), Gary Lennon (Power Book IV: Force, Euphoria), and Tim Walsh (Chicago PD) also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Lionsgate Television for Starz.
