Netflix has set the global premiere date for Killer Soup, a new comedic crime drama series from India.
Loosely inspired by a news headline, Killer Soup is a quirky crime series that serves up a tantalizing blend of intrigue and dark humor.
Set in the quaint town of Mainjur in the South of India, Killer Soup follows Swathi Shetty, an aspiring but talentless home chef, who cooks up a bizarre plan to replace her husband, Prabhakar, with her lover, Umesh. But when a bumbling local inspector and amateur villains stir the pot, things don’t go as planned and a recipe for chaos ensues.

The cast includes Manoj Bajpayee (The Family Man), Konkona Sensharma (Mumbai Diaries), Nasser (Article 15), Sayaji Shinde (Shirdi Sai), Lal (Maamannan), Anbu Thasan (Joe), Anula Navlekar (Prodigal Son), and Kani Kusruti (Maharani).
Created and written by Unaiza Merchant, Anant Tripathi, Harshad Nalawade, and Abhishek Chaubey, who also serves as director, the series is produced by Honey Trehan and Chetana Kowshik.
