Netflix has set the global premiere date for Ready, Set, Love, a new romantic comedy series from Thailand. Check out the trailer.
Ready, Set, Love looks like it’s gonna be a wacky show, with a lot of laughs and a lot of heart.
Set in a very colorful, alternate-reality world, where women significantly outnumber men and men are considered national treasures, the six-episode series sees the government sponsor a competition show called Ready, Set, Love, in which women vie for the men’s affection.
Day (Kemisara “Belle” Paladesh, Remember You), an ordinary young woman, is as surprised as everyone else when she is selected to participate in the competition. Initially hesitant, Day decides to take the plunge and soon crosses paths with Son (Pongtiwat “Blue” Tangwancharoen, The Family), one of the five bachelors — leading to true love with a twist.
Ready, Set, Love, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Thursday, February 15, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
