Netflix has set the global premiere date for Rest in Peace, a new thriller from Argentina.
Based on the novel Descansar en paz by Martin Baintrub, Rest in Peace centers on a family man who, cornered by debt, decides to take advantage of a coincidence and an unpredictable circumstance to disappear. After many years of living away from his country under a false identity, a chance discovery provides the irresistible temptation of wanting to know how the people he left behind have moved on in his absence — but nothing is as he expected.
Rest in Peace, a Netflix Film, premieres globally on Monday, March 27, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
The cast includes Joaquín Furriel (The Bronze Garden, The Kingdom) as Sergio, Griselda Siciliani (Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths) as Estela, Gabriel Goity (The One in Charge) as Hugo Brener, and Lali González (The Last Runway) as Ilu.
