Netflix has set the global premiere date for Trigger Warning, a new action thriller starring Jessica Alba.
In Trigger Warning, executive producer Jessica Alba (Dark Angel, Sin City, L.A.’s Finest, Fantastic Four) stars as Parker, a highly-skilled Special Forces commando on active duty overseas. After she learns that her father has died suddenly, Parker returns to her hometown and takes over the family bar.
In trying to understand what actually happened to her dad, Parker reconnects with Jesse (Mark Webber, Not for Nothing, SMILF), her former boyfriend-turned-sheriff; his hot-tempered brother, Elvis (Jake Weary, Animal Kingdom, Message from the King); and their powerful father, Senator Swann (Anthony Michael Hall, The Dead Zone, The Breakfast Club).
Parker’s search for answers quickly goes south and she soon finds herself at odds with a violent gang running rampant in her hometown. Unsure of whom she can truly trust, Parker draws on her commando training and proves herself a force to be reckoned with as she hunts down the truth and attempts to right what has gone wrong in Swann County. Helping Parker in her mission are Spider (Tone Bell, Survival of the Thickest, Disjointed), her covert ops partner and a hacker, and Mike (Gabriel Basso, The Night Agent, The Big C), a connected local dealer.
Trigger Warning, a Netflix Film, premieres globally on Friday, June 21, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
