Acorn TV and TED announced today their new series, Acorn TV X TED: Transform Your Thinking, which showcases some of the best TED Talks.
And now for something completely different.
Best known for its hit mystery series from across the globe, from Dalgliesh, Harry Wild, and My Life Is Murder, to Balthazar, Candice Renoir, and The Sommerdahl Murders, Acorn TV has been delivering binge-worthy entertainment since it launched as a standalone streaming service more than ten years ago.
Soon, Acorn TV will be expanding its offerings beyond crime dramas and other scripted content to bring viewers Acorn TV X TED: Transform Your Thinking, a new series done in partnership with TED, the nonprofit organization devoted to “Ideas Worth Spreading.”
The six-episode series, which showcases the best of TED Talks, is geared toward intellectually-curious viewers, offering them the opportunity to explore timely topics related to their daily lives, from longevity and wellness to climate change and the science of love. Each episode includes five TED Talks with a common theme.
Featured episodes will explore “How to Live a Better You,” “The Art and Science of Love,” “Your Body, Explained,” “Tales from the Edge,” “The Future Ahead,” and “Climate Action, Now!” Their inclusion in Acorn TV X TED: Transform Your Thinking marks the first time these TED Talks will be available to stream.
