Netflix has set the global premiere date for Echoes of the Past, a new action-crime thriller series from Egypt. Check out the trailer.
Although revenge is a dish best served cold, it’s likely that Yehia, the main character in Echoes of the Past, would have greatly preferred not going to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, rather than to feel compelled to get retribution for that injustice. But such is life. Yehia’s, anyway.
He was falsely accused of murdering his sister, Nadia, during a diving trip — a crime for which he spent fifteen years in prison. Now that he’s out, he’s dead set on untangling the web of lies, finding the real killer, avenging his dead sister and now-deceased mother, and exacting some serious punishment on the person(s) who set him up.
Echoes of the Past, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Friday, December 6, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
