In this comedy-drama series, Kohei, aka Bussan (Jun’ichi Okada, Hard Days, Hell Dogs), a 21-year-old former high school baseball player, learns that he is dying from cancer. With six months to live, he recruits friends from his former baseball club to form a ring of cat burglars and steal from those who commit crimes for the good of the community. Seven Figures (Israel)

This comedy series centers on six lottery winners, who must attend a mandatory workshop designed to help them adapt to their newfound millionaire status in order to claim their jackpot. Starring Liora Rivlin (The Conductor), Shlomo Bar-Aba (The Little Drummer Girl), and Shani Klein (Embezzlement), amongst others, Seven Figures premieres in the US and other territories on Wednesday, January 1, on Netflix. Conspirators (US)

This new thriller series follows a group of friends, “The Gang” — Nova (CJ Obilom, Stuck with You), Jellina (Kelsey Delemar, Gaslight), Osylus (Kyrel Jaundoo), and Kevin (Simeon Daise, All American) — who work for Hudson (Keith Robinson, A Million Little Things), a local politician running for mayor. They run into an old friend, Jackson (Chase X Drewery, Power Book II: Ghost), who gets shot by the police under mysterious circumstances and then goes missing. The Gang, who are brilliant hackers, sets out to unravel the mystery and discover secrets about Hudson that could cause him to drop out of the race and lead to his arrest. However, with only partial information, they must find out the truth and decide whether to help Hudson or take him down and execute the biggest hack they’ve ever pulled.

Going Dutch (US)

Denis Leary (Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, Rescue Me) stars in this new comedy series as arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Quinn, who, after an epically unfiltered rant, is reassigned to the Netherlands. Here, he is punished with a command position at the least important army base in the world, notable for its Michelin Star-commissary, top-notch bowling alley, lavender-infused laundry, and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Armed Forces. Surrounded by a diverse group of military misfits, the colonel tries to reinstate discipline and professionalism with the help of the base’s previous interim leader, who just happens to be his estranged daughter, Maggie Quinn (Taylor Misiak, Dave).

This horror movie follows Zia (Safira Ratu Sofya, Siksa Neraka), who goes against her grandfather’s (Tio Pakusadewo, Stealing Raden Saleh) wishes and returns home from the city to attend a funeral. This unleashes the Kromoleo, a group of coffin-bearing ghosts who are connected to her father’s death.

Love Child (Philippines)

This drama centers on Ayla and Paolo, a young couple who must navigate the challenges of raising their autistic son amid financial stress in an increasingly unforgiving world, testing their love and resilience and forcing them to reassess their future plans.

Picking up where Season 2 left off, the third and final season of this gripping docuseries follows Natalia — a Ukraine-born American woman with a rare dwarfism condition — as she reckons with the aftermath of that what-the-what! phone call and navigates an entirely new set of challenges.

Doc (US)

Inspired by a true story and based on the hit Italian series Doc – Nelle tue mani (Doc – In your hands), this new medical drama stars Molly Parker (Lost in Space, House of Cards) as Dr. Amy Larsen, the hard-charging, brilliant Chief of Internal Medicine, who suffers a brain injury that erases the last eight years of her memory following a car accident. This leaves her with no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves, and the tragedy that caused her to push almost everyone away. But with the immense loss comes a second chance to do things differently.

This two-part docuseries tells the story of The Jerry Springer Show as it’s never been told before. Packed with extraordinary first-hand testimony and revelations from show insiders, the series explores how this daytime talk show became one of the biggest and most outrageous TV hits of the ’90s. But behind the entertaining facade lay some darker truths. As we hear from producers and ex-guests, a murkier picture begins to emerge of the destruction the show caused, raising renewed questions about who was responsible and how far things should go in the name of entertainment.

Based on the New York Times best-selling series of “Will Trent” novels by Karin Slaughter, this cop drama returns with its highly-anticipated third season. In the season opener, when two off-duty cops are wounded, the GBI must track down Special Agent Will Trent (Ramón Rodríguez, The Affair), who recently fled town, to help solve the case. As the investigation unfolds, Will is drawn into his past to clear a friend’s name amid rivalries and corruption.

This new medical drama examines the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America, as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each episode of the 15-episode series follows an hour of Dr. Robby’s (Noah Wyle, ER) 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room.

Traitors: Season 3 (US)

An Update on Our Family (US)

This three-part docuseries explores the complex and symbiotic world of family vlogging, a phenomenon in which parents post a steady stream of lifestyle videos on their social media channels to be consumed by loyal subscribers whose views, in turn, generate money for the vloggers themselves. After controversy around former family vloggers Myka and James Stauffer went public, new scrutiny arose around the industry. This series raises questions about what motivates vloggers to expose their lives to the world and examines the issues surrounding making their children’s lives public. Harley Quinn: Season 5 (US)

Opening a year after the death of his friend and partner, Sherlock Holmes, at the hands of Moriarty, the show sees Watson resume his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. This new history series from Henry Louis Gates, Jr. examines the powerful influence of Black migration on American culture and society. While the first large migration was a forced journey from Africa in bondage, voluntary migrations in the 20th and 21st centuries have significantly reshaped the nation. This series explores the first and second waves of the Great Migration from the South to the North during the two World Wars, the “New Great Migration” of African Americans returning home to the South of their ancestors since the 1970s, and the “Next Great Migration” marked by the historic and growing influx of African and Caribbean immigration in the 1900s and 2000s.

Hunting History with Steven Rinella (US)
