Netflix released today the trailer for the new comedy film, Kinda Pregnant, co-written and produced by and starring Amy Schumer.
A bit rude, a bit crude, and with laugh-out-loud bits, the trailer for Kinda Pregnant got me to set a reminder for the film.
In it, Primetime Emmy® winner Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer) plays Lainy, a New Yorker who becomes quite jealous when she learns of her best friend’s pregnancy. This prompts her to start wearing a prosthetic baby bump. Then, wouldn’t you know it, she accidentally meets the man of her dreams.
(The trailer isn’t appropriate for all viewers, so head over to YouTube to watch it.)
Kinda Pregnant, a Netflix Film, premieres globally on Wednesday, February 5, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
The cast also includes Jillian Bell (Saturday Night Live), Will Forte (Bodkin), Damon Wayans Jr. (Shrinking), Brianne Howey (Ginny & Georgia), Alex Moffat (Bad Monkey), Joel David Moore (Forever), Lizze Broadway (Gen V), Urzila Carlson (Orange Is the New Brown), and Francis Benhamou (Inside Amy Schumer), amongst others.
Directed by Tyler Spindel (The Out-Laws), Kinda Pregnant is written by Julie Paiva (The Secret) and Amy Schumer. In addition to Schumer, the producers are Adam Sandler, Tim Herlihy, Judit Maull, Kevin Grady, Eli Thomas, Molly Sims, and Alex Saks.
