The Eternaut sees a mysterious deadly snowfall wipe out most of the population of Buenos Aires and leave thousands stranded, all on a summer night. Amongst the survivors is Juan Salvo (Ricardo Darín, Argentina, 1985, Everybody Knows), who, along with his friends, embarks on a desperate struggle for survival.

Everything changes when they discover that the toxic snowstorm is only the first attack by a foreign army invading Earth. The only way to stay alive is to join together and fight. No one will survive on their own.

The Eternaut, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Wednesday, April 30, exclusively on Netflix.

Directed and created by Bruno Stagnaro, who wrote the script along with Ariel Staltari, the series is the first screen adaptation of the iconic Argentine sci-fi graphic novel El Eternauta, written by Héctor G. Oesterheld and illustrated by Francisco Solano Lopez, which was first published in 1957.

The cast of the six-episode series includes Carla Peterson (Almost Happy), César Troncoso (Impuros), Andrea Pietra (El Tigre Verón), Ariel Staltari (El marginal), Marcelo Subiotto (The Bronze Garden), Claudio Martínez Bel (The Crimes That Bind), Orianna Cárdenas, and Mora Fisz (Tierra Incógnita).
