Netflix has set the global premiere date for Forget You Not, a new comedy-drama series from Taiwan.
Forget You Not is a story of friendship and kinship, and a heartwarming journey that explores the impermanent nature of life and lost time.
The eight-episode series stars Hsieh Ying-xuan (Born for the Spotlight, Wave Makers), Wallace Huo (Light the Night, Love Me If You Dare), and Chin Han (The Blacklist, The Dark Knight). Costars also include Tracy Chou (The World Between Us) and Esther Liu (Light the Night).
Forget You Not revolves around Cheng Le-le (Hsieh Ying-xuan), a married stand-up comedian and part-time convenience store employee. Despite her mundane life, Le-le is full of hopes and dreams for her future, but is met with a series of challenges, from marital troubles with her husband, Zhang Kai (Wallace Huo), to difficulties with her father (Chin Han).
In addition, her two best friends lead seemingly successful lives — one is an independent, career-driven woman (Esther Liu), while the other enjoys a happy family life as a mother (Tracy Chou). Surrounded by these contrasting realities, Le-le feels lost and overwhelmed.
However, rather than letting all of these situations get her down and out, they spur Le-le to embark on a courageous journey that redefines her relationship with her kin, her lover, her friends, and herself.
