Netflix has set the launch date for Genie, Make a Wish, a new fantasy romantic comedy series from South Korea.

Leading the cast of Genie, Make a Wish are series stars Kim Woo-bin (Officer Black Belt, Black Knight, Our Blues, Inheritors) and Suzy (Doona!, Start-Up, Vagabond, While You Were Sleeping).

The story follows Genie (Kim Woo-bin), a mysterious and mischievous spirit who awakens from a thousand-year slumber to grant three life-changing wishes to Ka-young (Suzy), an emotionless young woman who suddenly finds herself the new owner of a magical lamp. As Genie tries to adjust to the modern world with his devilish ways, he (called Iblis, aka Satan) and the emotionally-guarded Ka-young find themselves drawn into an unexpected and electrifying romance.

Genie, Make a Wish, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Friday, October 3, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
