Netflix has set the premiere date for Season 2 of the Mexican drama thriller, The Accident.

The first season of The Accident probably did nothing to spur rentals of bouncy castles for children’s parties, as a fatal incident directly related to one of those large inflatables serves as the main storyline.
If you haven’t watched it, Season 1 revolves around multiple tragedies that occur at a kid’s birthday party, which shatters a close-knit, wealthy community — tearing families, friendships, and hearts apart, and changing the lives of four families forever. While they deal with extreme pain, guilt, and resentment, the desire for revenge quickly arises.
Season 2 opens a year after the accident, with the four families continuing to feel the pain of what happened at the party. As they struggle between redemption and revenge, they must also navigate a maze of secrets and shifting alliances.
The Accident: Season 2, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Wednesday, December 10, exclusively on Netflix.
Reprising their roles for the new season are Regina Blandón (A Deadly Invitation) as Carla, Ana Claudia Talancón (Stolen Vacation) as Daniela, Luis Ernesto Franco (The Surrogacy) as Ulises, Alberto Guerra (Griselda) as El Charro, Erick Elías (Welcome to the Family) as Fabián, Eréndira Ibarra (Sense8) as Lupita, Sebastián Martínez (Until Money Do Us Part) as Emiliano, Ruben Zamora (Pact of Silence) as Javier, Valentina Acosta (El Chapo) as Brenda, Sebastián Dante (Sisters’ Feud) as Alex, Shaní (The Surrogacy) as Yola, Mauricio Isaac (The Dead Girls) as Santos, Macarena García (Control Z) as Lucía, and Horacio García (Women in Blue) as Fonseca.
