Dear Killer Nannies (Argentina-Colombia)
Set in Medellín, Colombia, in the 1980s and ’90s, this coming-of-age drama series is inspired by the childhood and adolescence of Juan Pablo “Juampi” Escobar, the son of Colombia’s most notorious drug lord, Pablo Escobar Gaviria. Sins of Kujo (Japan)
Adapted from the best-selling “Sins of Kujo” manga series by Shôhei Manabe, this new crime thriller series centers on Taiza Kujo (Yûya Yagira, Gannibal, Light of My Lion), a criminal defense attorney for thugs, ex-convicts, yakuza, and the like. Folks think he’s crooked and corrupt when he’s just doing his job.
