Netflix announced today the global premiere date for Borderless Fog, a new mystery-crime thriller film from Indonesia. Check out the trailer.
Filmed on location in Indonesia, Borderless Fog follows Sanja (Putri Marino, The Big 4), a big-city detective who’s been assigned to investigate a series of gruesome murders along the Indonesia-Malaysia border. But to solve the case, she must confront the ghosts of her past and open a Pandora’s box that will expose society’s deeply-buried secrets.
The cast also includes Yoga Pratama (Joko Anwar’s Nightmares and Daydreams), Lukman Sardi (Photocopier), Yudi Ahmad Tajudin (24 Hours with Gaspar), Yusuf Mahardika (Qorin), Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin (La Luna), Kiki Narendra (Blood Curse), Siti Fauziah (Cigarette Girl), and Sita Nursanti (Joko Anwar’s Nightmares and Daydreams).

Award-winning filmmaker Edwin (Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash) directs the film written by Ifan Ismail (Harlot’s Prayer) and Edwin.
