Madam Beja (Brazil)

A reimagining of the same-named 1986 series, this new telenovela is about Ana Jacinta de São José (Grazi Massafera, A Life Worth Living), the 1800s historical figure who, due to various circumstances in her life, transforms herself into a prestigious and powerful courtesan.

The Turpins: A New House of Horror – A Diane Sawyer Special Event (US)

When news broke in 2018 about the years of horrific abuse inflicted on the thirteen Turpin children by their sadistic parents, the world was rightfully shocked and appalled. Thanks to the brave and daring escape by 17-year-old Jordan Turpin, her siblings were rescued, two of whom Diane Sawyer interviewed in 2021. In this new special, the veteran broadcast journalist interviews three more Turpin siblings, who share stories about their life with their parents and the abuse they were forced to endure again after they were put into foster care.

Dark Winds: Season 4 (US)

Based on the novel The Ghostway, the sixth title in Tony Hillerman’s iconic “Leaphorn & Chee” book series, the fourth season of this critically-acclaimed and viewer-favorite noir thriller focuses on the search for a missing Navajo girl. In this new mystery-crime thriller’s series premiere, rule-bending CIA agent Colin Glass (Tom Ellis, Lucifer, Tell Me Lies) is paired with by-the-book FBI agent Bill Goodman (Nick Gehlfuss, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire) to investigate the theft of a top-secret weapon, which was stolen in broad daylight from a U.S. defense contractor. Their new partnership gets off to a rocky start, but they soon realize their opposing viewpoints may be their greatest asset.

The American Runestone: Season 2 (US)

This docuseries follows the journey of actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, Prison Break) and history enthusiast Elroy Balgaard as they set out to solve the mystery surrounding the Kensington Runestone, an artifact that, if proven authentic, will rewrite the history of North America. In the second season, Peter and Elroy get approval from the State of Minnesota to start excavation with the archaeological team at Runestone Hill, where the runestone was found in 1898. At the same time, they dig deeper into some of the extreme accusations and evidence that academics have presented against the runestone’s discoverer, Olof Ohman. The excavations hit pay dirt with the discovery of charcoal, which can now be carbon-dated and tested. And rhe runestone world widens further as Peter and Elroy travel to Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island to investigate where the Vikings would have traded on the coast of Maine, utilizing seacraft to find the exact location.

The Gray House (US)

Set during the U.S. Civil War and based on a true story, this historical drama thriller follows four women — a Virginia socialite, her mother, a former slave, and a courtesan — who create their own spy network along the Underground Railroad, risking everything to change the course of the war and ultimately American history.
