Netflix has released the official trailer for Christmas Full of Grace, a new holiday romantic comedy film from Brazil. Check it out.
Netflix does its best Hallmark Channel impression, Brazilian-style!, with its new holiday film Christmas Full of Grace (Um Natal Cheio de Graça). Starring in the romantic comedy are Gkay (Unsuspicious), Sérgio Malheiros (Impuros), and Vera Fischer (Harassment).
The unsuspecting Carlinhos (Sérgio Malheiros) is just about to pop the big question to his lady love when he discovers her in flagrante delicto with another lover. The timing couldn’t be worse for him to find out that he’s been cheated on — it’s Christmas Eve. (Some Christmas present this is. Not.) And with the day comes the traditional holiday dinner hosted by his grandmother, the wealthy (and snooty) Lady Sofia (Vera Fischer). To try to keep the betrayal a secret from her, Carlinhos takes Grace (Gkay), a complete stranger, with him. But the mysterious Grace proves herself capable of bringing the whole house down.
Costars include Nando Cunha (Pantanal) as Enéas, Cezar Maracujá (Unsuspicious) as Bento Leão, and Monique Alfradique (Sweet Diva) as Bebela.
