Peacock released today the official trailer for its new Original crime thriller series Leopard Skin. (It’s kinda intense.) Check it out.
Guns. Hostages. Sex. And from the looks of the trailer of this half-hour crime thriller series, that’s just for starters.
In Leopard Skin, crooked Judge Lasalle (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, The Walking Dead) masterminds a diamond heist, except it goes sideways, forcing his gang of criminals to flee the scene and seek shelter in the remote paradise of Playa Perdida, Mexico.
It is here that Lasalle’s trio — professional weapons expert Sierra Loba (Nora Arnezeder, Riviera), professional criminal and expert heist planner Fausto Malone (Gentry White, UnREAL), and professional getaway driver Clover Braun (Margot Bingham, The Walking Dead) — decides to hide out in the beachside estate where former documentarian Alba Fontana (Carla Gugino, The Haunting of Hill House) lives with Batista “Batty” Ferreira (Gaite Jansen, Peaky Blinders), a former mannequin model and scuba diving enthusiast and the younger woman for whom Alba’s philanthropist (and philandering) husband left her.
Dark and humorous complications arise when they are joined by two dinner guests — slick American television documentary producer Max Hammond (Philip Winchester, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) and his flighty former casino waitress girlfriend, Maru (Amelia Eve, The Haunting of Bly Manor) — as well as the estate’s former housekeeper, the kleptomaniac Inocencia (Ana de la Reguera, Narcos). When they are all taken hostage, murderous secrets, coldhearted betrayals and shocking desires bubble up to the surface as everyone awaits their fate.
Leopard Skin, a Peacock Original, premieres in the US in its eight-episode entirety on Thursday, November 17, exclusively on Peacock.
A production of AGC Television, the series is written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez, and executive produced by Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz, Miguel A. Palos, Jr., Carla Gugino, and Sebastian Gutierrez.
