Prime Video has set the premiere date for Farzi, a new crime thriller from India. Check out the trailer.
A cat-and-mouse crime thriller, Farzi follows two men: One is Sunny, a brilliant artist and small-time con artist who gets catapulted into the murky but high-stakes world of counterfeiting when he creates the perfect fake currency note. The other is Michael, a fiery, unorthodox task force officer wants to rid the country of counterfeiting and the menace it poses.
Farzi premieres globally on Friday, February 10, exclusively on Prime Video. (You can add it to your watchlist now.)
The cast includes Shahid Kapoor (Kapoor & Sons), Vijay Sethupathi (Vikram Vedha), Kay Kay Menon (The Ghazi Attack), Raashii Khanna (Rudra: The Edge of Darkness), Bhuvan Arora (The Test Case), Zakir Hussain (Breathe: Into the Shadows), Chittranjan Giri (Khatta Meetha), and Jaswant Singh Dalal (Project 9191), as well as Amol Palekar (Ek Nayi Ummeed: Roshni), Kubbra Sait (Foundation), and Regina Cassandra (Rocket Boys).
A production of D2R Films, the series is created and directed by the award-winning team of Raj & DK (The Family Man), who co-wrote it with Sita Menon (Happy Ending) and Suman Kumar (Game Over).
