Fans of Sex/Life, this is for you. A new season of the steamy romantic drama is coming.
Season 1 of Sex/Life, inspired by BB Easton’s memoir, 44 Chapters About 4 Men, follows Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi, The Rookie, Chicago Fire), a married mom of two who takes a fantasy-charged trip down memory lane that puts her life on a collision course with her past.
Billie wasn’t always a stay-at-home wife and mother living in the suburbs. Before she married the loving and reliable (and, depending on your point of view, boring) Cooper (Mike Vogel, Under the Dome) and moved to Connecticut, Billie was a free-spirited wild child living in New York City with her best friend, Sasha (Margaret Odette, Blindspot), working hard and playing even harder.
Exhausted from taking care of her two young kids and feeling nostalgic for her past, Billie starts journaling and fantasizing about her passionate exploits with her sexy ex-boyfriend, Brad (Adam Demos, UnREAL), the big heartbreak she never got over. But the more Billie remembers, the more she wonders how she got here — and then her husband finds her journal. The truth about her past affects their marriage in ways Brad hadn’t considered (or entertained) before, but for Billie something is still missing.
When Sex/Life returns, Billie will navigate new challenges and fresh desires as she lusts after the life she wants — but will she be able to have it all?
Sex/Life: Season 2 premieres globally on Thursday, March 2, exclusively on Netflix.
