Indonesian romantic drama Wedding Agreement: The Series is set for its US premiere.
Adapted from the film Wedding Agreement, itself an adaptation of the novel by Mia Chuz (who co-writes both version), Wedding Agreement: The Series follows the love triangle between Tari (Indah Permatasari, Imperfect: The Series), Bian (Refal Hady, A Perfect Fit), and Sarah (Susan Sameh, Crazy, Stupid, Love).
Bian (Refal Hady) is in love with his longtime girlfriend, Sarah (Susan Sameh). However, his parents don’t approve of their relationship, and they arrange for him to marry Tari (Indah Permatasari) instead. While Bian agrees to the arranged marriage in order to appease his parent’s wishes, he also promises to be true to Sarah — and continues to see her.
So on the night of their wedding, Tari is caught totally off-guard when Bian suddenly hands her an agreement to sign, one stating that their marriage will end after one year. This, so he can marry Sarah. Stunned and saddened, Tari decides to respect their marriage in the eyes of God and attempts to win Bian’s love.
