K-drama fans, Hulu has another series for you: the mystery-crime drama Doctor Lawyer.
Part legal drama, part mystery drama, Doctor Lawyer stars So Ji-seob (The Master’s Sun, Ghost) as Han Yi Han, who had been a genius, double-board-certified surgeon who specialized in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. But following a rigged operation, he lost everything and was sent to prison. Now Yi Han is a lawyer specializing in medical litigation.
Geum Seok-young (Im Soo-hyang, When I Was the Most Beautiful, Graceful Family), a prosecutor in the medical crime division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office, lost her only family, a younger brother, and a lover due to that operation.
Together Yi Han and Seok-young work to punish people who believe that wealth and power are more important than life, while comforting the victims of medical negligence.
Both the original Korean-language and English-dubbed versions of Doctor Lawyer, a Hulu Original, premiere in the US tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19, exclusively on Hulu. (You can add the English version to your watchlist now.)
