Inspired by true stories, The Railway Men is a four-part historical drama that tells a story of extraordinary heroism demonstrated by the employees of the Indian Railways in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. These individuals rose against all odds to save their fellow citizens on the night of December 2, 1984 — battling an invisible enemy in the air: the highly-toxic gas methyl isocyanate.

Highlighting how courage can be found in the darkest of times and how ordinary men can rise up to extraordinary challenges, the miniseries shows the heroic attempt of individuals who raced against time and worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of hundreds of people on the fateful night of the world’s worst industrial disaster.

It stars R. Madhavan (Dhokha: Round D Corner), Kay Kay Menon (Haider), Divyenndu (Mirzapur), and Babil Khan (Qala).

The Railway Men premieres globally on Saturday, November 18, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
