HBO has announced the premiere date for its new Original limited series The Regime, starring Kate Winslet. Check out the new teaser trailer.
Filled with comedic overtones, HBO’s new limited series The Regime tells the story of one year within the walls of the palace of a modern European regime as it begins to unravel.
The six-episode series stars Academy Award® winner Kate Winslet (The Reader, The Dressmaker), along with Matthias Schoenaerts (Rust and Bone), Guillaume Gallienne (Me, Myself and Mum), Andrea Riseborough (Shadow Dancer), Martha Plimpton (Raising Hope), and Hugh Grant (Love Actually).
The Regime, an HBO Original, premieres in the US on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 9pm ET/PT, on HBO, with streaming available on Max.
(The show launches in the UK on Sky Atlantic and streaming service Now in 2024.)
Written and showrun by Will Tracy (Succession) and directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen) and Jessica Hobbs (The Crown), the series is executive produced by Will Tracy, Frank Rich, Tracey Seaward, Kate Winslet, Stephen Frears, and Jessica Hobbs. Writers are Seth Reiss (The Menu), Sarah DeLappe (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Gary Shteyngart (Succession), and Jen Spyra (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert).
