Based on the Naver webtoon A Day of Bad Luck by Aporia, A Bloody Lucky Day is a new action thriller series that follows Oh Taek (Lee Sung-min, Shadow Detective, Reborn Rich), a down-on-his-luck taxi driver having an uncharacteristic streak of good fortune.

It seems that his streak is still going when he agrees to drive a mysterious man named Geum Hyuk-soo (Yoo Yeon-seok, Hospital Playlist, Mr. Sunshine) to a faraway city in exchange for an exorbitant fare. However, when Hyuk-soo reveals himself to be a serial killer, confessing to grisly crimes in his past and murdering others on the highway, Oh Taek must play mind games to ensure that his lucky streak doesn’t come to a deadly end.

Directed by Pil Gam-seong (Hostage: Missing Celebrity), and written by Kim Min-sung (The Chase) and Song Han-na (The Jangmadang Generation), the series costars Lee Jung-eun (Parasite, Daily Dose of Sunshine) as Hwang Soon-gyu, a mother desperately chasing down the killer of her son, whose death the police ruled a suicide.

A Bloody Lucky Day, a Paramount+ Original series, launches as a ten-episode binge premiere on Thursday, February 1, on Paramount+ in the U.S, the UK, Canada, Australia, Latin America, Brazil, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
