Whoa.

Based on the book Chasin’ Freedum by Quawntay “Bosco” Adams, Bosco tells the author’s incredible-but-true prison-break story, with Aubrey Joseph (Little Fires Everywhere, Cloak & Dagger, The Night Of) starring in the film as Bosco.

In 2006, more than two million people in America were incarcerated — but only one managed to escape a federal maximum-security prison while under 24-hour surveillance in solitary confinement: Quawntay “Bosco” Adams.

Bosco was sentenced to 35 years behind bars for attempting to possess marijuana. For the chance to be at the birth of his first child, he plans an ingenious escape with the help of a lonely Missouri woman that he meets by replying to a personal ad.

Bosco, a Peacock Original film, premieres Friday, February 2, 2024, exclusively on Peacock as part of the streamer’s Best Movies on Peacock collection.

The cast includes Nikki Blonsky (Smash), Tyrese Gibson (Transformers), Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), and Thomas Jane (The Expanse), amongst others.

Bosco will feature original music from leading hip-hop artists, including Snoop Dogg, French Montana, The Game, DDG, and more.

A production of Evergreen Valley Productions and Fluke Studios, Bosco is the feature directorial debut from Chilean-American director and writer Nicholas Manuel Pino. The film is produced by Quawntay “Bosco” Adams, Darryll C. Scott, Justin Steele, and Patrick McErlean, and executive produced by David Ayer and Chris Long.
