Acorn TV has announced that it has greenlit the new mystery-crime drama series Allie & Andi, which will star Brooke Shields.
Actress, model, New York Times best-selling author, and entrepreneur Brooke Shields (Jane the Virgin, Lipstick Jungle, The Blue Lagoon, Pretty Baby, Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old) is set to star in and executive produce Allie & Andi, a new series created by Robin Bernheim. The show reunites them, following their collaboration on the Netflix film, Mother of the Bride.
Set in a quaint, colonial New England town, Allie & Andi is a six-episode murder mystery-crime drama series that follows a best-selling novelist (Shields), who forms an unlikely alliance with an aspiring writer and influencer to find the killer of a close friend.

Allie & Andi is a co-production between AMC Studios and Dynamic Television. Bernheim and Shields will executive produce alongside Daniel March and Carrie Stein for Dynamic and Rob Fox and Shannon Cooper for Acorn TV/AMC Studios.
AMC Studios/Acorn TV hold distribution rights in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Dynamic Television serves as international distributor.
