Peacock has set the premiere date for the new drama thriller series Hysteria! starring Julie Bowen and Anna Camp and guest starring Bruce Campbell. Check out the teaser video.
In Hysteria!, a beloved varsity quarterback disappears during the “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s, so a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts decides to capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band. But then a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported “supernatural activity” triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them.
Hysteria!, a Peacock Original, premieres as an eight-episode binge on Friday, October 18, exclusively on Peacock. USA Network and Syfy will simulcast the first episode on October 18, with USA Network airing the remaining episodes on Fridays through December 6.
