Peacock has announced the premiere date for The Good Daughter, a new psychological thriller limited series starring Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy. Check out the teaser.
Based on the eponymous novel by Karin Slaughter (Pieces of Her, Will Trent), The Good Daughter is a suspenseful thriller wrapped in a deeply-emotional story about love, family, and resilience. It stars Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus, Sirens, The Bold Type) and Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, Platonic, Physical).
The story centers on sisters Charlotte (Fahy) and Samantha (Byrne) Quinn, who have spent the last twenty years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured all those years ago by a single night of shocking violence.
When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte, now a lawyer like her father, is the first witness on the scene. As the case unfolds and twists through painful memories and buried secrets, what emerges is a story of survival, of the enduring ties between a father and his daughters, and of the complex bond between sisters.
The Good Daughter, a Peacock Original, premieres in the US as a six-episode binge on Thursday, November 12, exclusively on Peacock.
